The main event of the week was undoubtedly Sweden’s official accession to NATO. The country has been closely cooperating with the North Atlantic Alliance since 1949, and although it has adhered to the principle of neutrality in favor of peace for more than 70 years, its army has regularly participated in joint exercises and special operations.
